As the cooler temperatures start rolling in I can’t wait to make some hot chocolate. Since my white hot chocolate last year turned out so amazing, I couldn’t wait to add pumpkin and spices to make it taste just like pumpkin pie!

Pumpkin Pie white hot chocolate in a clear glass with whipped cream, cinnamon, and cinnamon sticks.I try to keep the furnace off as long as I possibly can. My hubby always wants to turn it on the second it gets cold in the house. But make him wait until you can practically see your breath it is so cold. 🙂  The temperatures dropped to about 48 degrees last week. So we turned on the furnace and I knew it was the perfect time for this delicious and warm white hot chocolate.

Because I love pumpkin so much and white hot chocolate this became an instant favorite. It was creamy and smooth and really did remind me of pumpkin pie. It was easy to make and warmed us right up. The spices were perfect and it didn’t last long at all on that cold 48 degree day. 🙂

  1. Pumpkinholic right here. TO DIE FOR! ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS!! couldn’t get enuf! Added 1 Tbsp of sweetener (I used sucanant since its healthier) and 1/2 tsp more cinnamon! Thanks for this amazing recipe!!

  2. I always try to keep the heat off too. I don’t like it on and don’t like to admit summer is over. I don’t typically let the house dip below 58 or so. This winter I need this scrumptious looking drink even with the heat on 🙂

  3. Made it!! It was so delicious, I added about 1.5 cups of pumpkin. My husband said it was too thick but I loved it! Definitely will make again

  4. SOOOO gorgeous, I bet it tastes gorgeous as well. White chocolate and pumpkin just go together 🙂

  5. 2 things: the recipe says: “bring to a boil” with “Dot” on the line above it. Many might think this means to boil it, but I suspent the dot is supposed to be Don’t.

Second, this blog is not easily readable with the light grey font on white background. I for one have a hard time reading it without removing my glasses and looking very closely at the screen…just sayin’

Can’t wait to try this recipe!!!!

    1. Thanks for noticing that. Typing a bunch of recipes and usually at 2 am you don’t notice everything. And I am going to change some of my blog colors. Working with my designer now.

  6. This looks like the perfect drink for a crisp fall night. My mouth is watering already!

  7. I hope that you mean “Do not bring it to the boil”, because it doesn’t need to be that hot. It was yummy without it. Pinned. Been looking for a pumpkin non coffee warm drink, and I’ve found heaven!

  8. This looks and sounds so incredibly good! It’s still hot where I am, but I could go for one of these just about any time. 🙂

  9. That sounds like an amazing flavor combo, never would have thought of pumpkin hot chocolate, but now I can’t wait to try it!
