A delicious and flavorful salad that is packed with leafy romaine, red cabbage, chicken, carrots, and almonds. The pasta adds a unique and perfect texture and the sesame dressing is perfect on top!chinese chicken pasta salad on a white plate.

I love a good salad. Can you tell? I have been trying to post one once a week and I make them all of the time. Since making healthier lifestyle choices, I have been incorporating a lot of good salads into the diet.

I used to hate salad. Did you know that? I used to gag them down. So I am a firm believer that anyone can come to love salads. I started by wrapping chicken into a romaine leaf and eating it. Slowly I got used to the taste. Then I discovered how delicious salads can be. I have come a long way from my wrapping lettuce around chicken days. I actually prefer a good salad over a burger. The right salad can be full of flavor and textures, and this salad was just that!!

  1. I made this last week and swapped out the romaine for a bag of lettuce shreds (you know, it’s what I had on hand). It was delicious. Thanks so much for a great recipe.

  2. This is a very yummy salad! The only thing I will do differently next time is to top individual servings with the chow mein noodles and almonds rather than mix them in to the salad because they quickly lose their crunch. Thank you!

  3. YUM . . . . . . I can’t wait to make this salad and the Thai Cashew Chopped Salad for my ladies group. Thank you for all your wonderful recipes 🙂

  4. I can see this salad quickly becoming a favorite in our house as well! It’s gorgeous and love those flavors!!
