Delicious and easy grilled chicken with a sweet chili lime glaze. The flavor is amazing and will be one of the best things you grill this summer!
I sure do love summer. And me and my kiddos are having a blast. And by having a blast I mean giving them the hose and buying a $5 kiddo pool and some water guns at Wal Mart. Their lives are complete. We spent hours yesterday in the back yard. My baby just loved sitting in the pool splashing away while her brothers played with the hose and water guns. I would say the day was a huge success.
When we have been outside all day sometimes i forget that my kiddos still have to eat dinner. So we grill a ton in the summertime. I love putting together a marinade and throwing the chicken onto the grill. Dinner is ready in no time at all.
Since making this sweet chili garlic salmon I have been OBSESSED with the marinade. It is easily the best marinade that I have ever had. So if you are not into fish then today is your lucky day. I created this marinade and the limes give it a delicious summer twist!
It goes perfectly on top of this chicken and grills to tender and juicy perfection. It is sweet with a little tang and so delicious! This is definitely a recipe you will want to grill up this summer!

Can this be cooked in oven or air fryer?
Yes, either would work great!
Preparing food is not that difficult. The hardest part is arranging a meal. You prepared the recipe in a very good way and put it in front of the world. In short, I would like to say that this is a great recipe.
Zest and flavorful, restaurant quality! easy to make. Has a great kick to it.
Thank You! This one’s a keeper. Sweet, Tart – “Candy Chicken”. I pounded the chicken breast a bit to give it more surface area and even grilling.
P.S. Cuisine: Asian (not Mexican)
My grill chef (aka Hubs) is out of town and I’m afraid of the grill. 😉 Would this recipe lose an important element if baked and not grilled?
I made this for dinner tonight, and it is delicious! The flavor is wonderful. I will definitely make this again.
What can be used in place of the orange marmalade?
One source I read said to use orange juice or honey as a substitute.
So easy and delicious. So much flavor even served with a simple salad. Thank you for sharing – know I will be working my way through those recipes of yours!!
I, too, am not familiar with SWEET CHILI SAUCE, so if you would clarify what it is or how I can make it, I’ll be a very happy chef! I love salmon and chicken, and I need sweet chili sauce for both of your recipes. By the way, I’m so glad I’ve recently connected with you and your wealth of recipes….you do some Killer Recipes that never cease to please!
It is on the ethnic isle by the soy sauce. It will just be a bottle that is labeled sweet chili sauce. The grocery store will also help you find it if needed. 🙂
Looks amazing. Sweet chili sauce is not a condiment I keep on hand. What kind do you use? Need to make this soon!
This looks so juicy and flavorful. There is nothing better than grilled chicken in the summer time!
