This decadent Stuffed French Toast is made with thick slices of challah bread that are filled with Nutella, dipped in the most wonderful custard, then fried to perfection and dusted with powdered sugar.

Ingredients
4largeeggs
¾cupwhole milk
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
½teaspoonground cinnamon
8thick sliceschallah bread or brioche
⅓cupNutella
3tablespoonsunsalted butter
powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
Whisk 4 large eggs, ¾ cup whole milk, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, and ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon in a medium bowl until combined.
Spread 1-2 tablespoons of the ⅓ cup Nutella on 8 thick slices challah bread . Top with another slice of bread, sandwiching them together. Repeat until all of the bread and Nutella have been used.
Melt 3 tablespoons unsalted butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. When melted, dip each French toast sandwich into the egg wash to coat both sides. Carefully lay each sandwich in the hot butter.
Cook until browned on both sides, flipping partway through, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
Transfer to a plate and garnish with powdered sugar, for dusting. Serve with fruit, whipped cream, or syrup
