Ingredients

Olive Oil
1/2
white onion
finely diced
2
garlic cloves
minced

(15 ounce cans)
pinto beans*

teaspoon
cumin
1
teaspoon
chili powder
juice of half a lime
salt to taste
Instructions
In a medium sized
saucepan
over medium high heat add the olive oil, the garlic and the onion. Sauté until tender.
Add the beans, cumin, chili powder, lime and salt. Heat until warm.
Remove from the stove and mash the beans until they reach desired consistency.
Top with cilantro, and cojita cheese if desired.
