vanilla ice cream

whole milk

peppermint extract

vanilla

crushed peppermint candy
or candy canes
½

dark chocolate
finely grated

drops red food coloring
optional
Whipped cream for garnish
Instructions
In a blender or food processor, finely crush your peppermint candy or candy canes. In a small bowl grate your dark chocolate, set aside.
In your blender add ice cream, milk, and peppermint, blend until well combined. If you are adding the food coloring, you can add it at this point.
Add in your crushed peppermints and dark chocolate, continue to blend until everything comes together.
Pour into your favorite glass, garnish with some whipped cream and enjoy!
