Packed with tangy, savory, fresh flavor, this homemade Hibachi Sauce pairs perfectly with steak and stir fries. It’s made without preservatives or artificial flavors for a sauce you can feel great about using!
In a blender or food processor, add ½ yellow onion,3 cloves garlic,1 ½ tablespoons ginger,¼ cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons chinkiang vinegar, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and ½ teaspoon ground black pepperand pulse until the sauce is pureed to the desired consistency.
Pour the sauce into an airtight container and place in the fridge. Before using, allow the sauce to marinate overnight if possible.
Use this sauce in stir fries, over rice, or as a dipping sauce!
Notes
Keep the sauce stored in the fridge for up to 10 days. If you would like to spice this sauce up, add 2 teaspoons of sriracha, or more to taste. For a sweeter sauce, add additional brown sugar.
