This Slow Cooker Mongolian Chicken takes just five minutes to throw into the slow cooker and the flavor is out of this world! Tender and juicy slow cooked chicken in a lightened up Mongolian sauce that is sure to wow your family!
1poundbonelessskinless chicken breasts, cut into one inch cubes
¼cupscornstarch
2tablespoonsOlive Oil
½teaspoonsmince GarlicCloves
1/2cupLow Sodium Soy Sauce
1/2cupWater
1/2cupBrown Sugar
1cupgrated Carrots
green onionsfor garnish
Instructions
In a large ziplock bag add cubed chicken and cornstarch. Shake to coat. Add olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and carrots to the slow cooker. Stir ingredients. Add chicken and stir in sauce until coated.
Cook for high 2-3 hours or on low 4-5 hours until cooked throughout and tender. Can serve over rice and garnish with green onions.
