Ingredients
1(30-ounce)bag of frozen diced hash browns
2cupschopped ham
1(2-ounce)packet of onion soup mix,about 5 tablespoons
Spray the bowl of a 4-quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, mix 1 (30-ounce) bag of frozen diced hash browns, 2 cups chopped ham, 1 (2-ounce) packet of onion soup mix,1 cup sour cream, 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, 1 cup milk, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, and ½ teaspoon salt. Transfer the potato mixture to the slow cooker.
Pour the 1 (6-ounce) box herb-seasoned stuffing mix into a medium bowl, drizzle the ¼ cup melted unsalted butter over it, and toss to coat.
Sprinkle the stuffing mix over the top of the potato mixture. Cover and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or HIGH for 2-4 hours.
Notes
Make In The Oven: Preheat to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Follow steps 2 and 3, then cover with foil and bake for 35-40 minutes until bubbling. Uncover and bake for 15-20 more minutes until the stuffing is golden brown. Originally Posted July 17, 2020Updated March 27, 2025
