This pumpkin dump cake is a delicious fall favorite that combines the rich flavors of pumpkin, spices, and a cake mix. It's a mouthwatering treat that's incredibly easy to make!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 9x13 baking dish and set it aside.
In a large bowl, mix together 1 (15-ounce) can of pumpkin purée, 1 (12-ounce) can of evaporated milk, ½ cup granulated sugar, ½ cup light brown sugar, 3 large eggs, ¾ teaspoon ground ginger, ¼ teaspoon ground cloves, ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg, and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan.
Sprinkle 1 box yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture and top with ½ cup chopped pecans.
Slice 8 tablespoons salted butter into very thin pieces, about 20, and lay them across the top of the cake mix.
Bake for 50-55 minutes until the top is set and the edges are browned.
Let cool for at least 20 minutes before serving.
