Add the 1 cup onion, 2 cloves garlic, 3 tablespoons parmesan, 6 slices bacon, 2 cups chicken broth, and 2 pounds fresh green beans to a 4-quart slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper as desired. Place the lid on top and cook on high for 2-3 hours or until the green beans are tender.
