In a food processor, combine ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, 1 cup fresh basil, ½ cup parmesan cheese, ¼ cup pine nuts, ¼ cup oil, 3 cloves minced garlic, and salt and pepper. Pulse until smooth.
Cook 1 package Barilla Penne Ready Pasta in the microwave according to package directions. Carefully open the package and add to the pesto, and toss until coated.
