Slow Cooker Parmesan Honey Pork Roast is a tender pork roast slow cooked in a sweet and savory grated parmesan, sticky honey, soy sauce with dried basil seasoning and garlic sauce making this fall apart tender with every slice. The best mouth watering pork roast!
Spray the inside of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place 2-3 pounds boneless pork roastr in the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, whisk together ⅔ cup grated Parmesan cheese, ½ cup honey, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons dried basil, 2 tablespoons minced garlic, 2 tablespoons olive oil, and ½ teaspoon salt. Pour the sauce mixture over the pork roast.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours until a meat thermometer inserted in the middle of the roast reads 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
After the meat is cooked remove it from the slow cooker and set aside on a serving platter.
Skim the fat from the cooking juices and transfer to a small saucepan. Bring the liquid to a boil over medium-high heat.
Whisk together 2 tablespoon cornstarch and ¼ cup cold water. Whisk it into the liquid until smooth. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Slice the roast and serve the meat smothered in the gravy!
