Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare the Grandma's Perfect Pie Crust Recipe and set aside. In a large bowl, mix together 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, and 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves. Add 2 large eggs, 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin or homemade puree, and 1 (12 ounce) can Evaporated Milk. Mix until fully combined.
Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared pie crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes or until the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours to completely cool. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Top with pecans and whipped Cream if desired.
