A quick and easy 30 minute meal that is packed with amazing honey dijon garlic flavor! The chicken is so juicy and tender and the sauce is sweet and tangy... you are going to love it!
In a medium-sized skillet over medium heat, add half of the 2 tablespoons olive oil, and 3 whole garlic cloves.
Season the 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Add the remaining olive oil and 3 teaspoons minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until tender, and ¼ cup honey and 3 tablespoons stone ground dijon mustard. Add the chicken back to the pan and heat for a couple of minutes more.
Garnish with green onions or fresh parsley for garnish and serve.
Notes
Sautéing the whole garlic cloves is completely optional, just adds a little more garlic flavor to the dish.
