Add 16 ounces sour cream and 4 ounces softened cream cheese to a medium bowl and mix until smooth and combined.
Add 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup chopped bacon, 3 sliced green onions, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper to the bowl and mix until fully combined.
