If you haven't heard of an egg roll in a bowl, you're in for a treat! This delicious and savory dish is full of all of your favorite flavors of an egg roll without having to stuff the wrapper. It's quick, easy, and makes the BEST leftovers. You will want to make this recipe again and again!
In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook until translucent.
Add the garlic and ginger and cook an additional 30 seconds.
Cook the ground turkey in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Try to keep the ground turkey in bigger pieces, don't crumble it too small.
Add the coleslaw mix and stir well.
Continue cooking the mixture over low to medium heat, stirring often, then add the soy sauce as the coleslaw mix begins to soften.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
To serve, garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and additional soy sauce if desired. I also love a drizzle of sriracha for added heat.
