Delicious spiced rubbed chicken cooked to tender and juicy perfection. It gets glazed with the most amazing honey lime sauce and is sure to be a huge hit!
Add 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, to a large bowl and toss with 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon chili powder, ½ teaspoon salt, and ⅕ teaspoon ground black pepper.
Heat a medium-sized skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add the chicken to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until the chicken is browned and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the chicken and set aside on a plate.
Add ½ cup honey, 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice,2 teaspoons lime zest,2 tablespoons soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon minced garlic to the skillet. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to medium-low and whisk until it thickens, about 2 minutes.
Add the chicken back to the skillet and coat in the sauce. Simmer for 3-4 minutes before serving.
