Slow Cooker Cherry Chocolate Hot Fudge Cake is a perfectly tender chocolate cake with hidden cherries inside. It creates a magical fudge sauce while it is in the slow cooker and is completely irresistible!
Spray a 2- 3 1/2 quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine 1 cup all-purpose flour, ½ cup granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and ½ teaspoon salt in a bowl.
Stir in ½ cup milk, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until incorporated and smooth. Fold 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling into the batter. Spread the batter into the bottom of the slow cooker.
Hot Fudge
In a small bowl mix ¼ cup packed brown sugar, 2 cups cocoa powder, and ½ cup hot water. Pour evenly over the batter in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 2- 2 ½ hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Turn off the slow cooker and let it stand for 30 minutes. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
