Sticky Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp are coated in the most amazing sticky honey garlic butter soy sauce. This is a quick 20 minute meal that you will make again and again!
In a small bowl, whisk together the ½ cup honey, ¼ cup soy sauce, 3 cloves minced garlic, and 1 juice of one lemon. Add the mixture to a sealable container with the 1 pound large peeled and deveined shrimp and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
In a medium-sized skillet, add the 2 tablespoons unsalted butter and shrimp, and save the marinade. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
Turn the heat to medium-high and cook the shrimp until it turns pink, 2 minutes each side.
Remove the cooked shrimp from the skillet and reserve on a plate. Add the reserved marinade to the skillet and cook over medium-high heat for 2-4 minutes until thickened. Add the shrimp back to the skillet and stir to coat. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
