Sticky Sesame Garlic Shrimp is coated in the most amazing sticky Asian sauce and topped with green onions and sesame seeds! This is a quick and easy 30-minute meal that you will make again and again!
In a medium sized bow, add 1 pound peeled and deveined large shrimp, ¼ cup soy sauce, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon light brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar. Stir until mixed and shrimp is coated evenly. Cover and let sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
In a medium-sized skillet over medium high heat, add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Remove the shrimp with a slotted spoon and add to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until shrimp is pink. Remove the shrimp and set aside on a plate.
Add the marinade to the skillet and let it simmer until it is thick and looks like a syrup. Add the shrimp back to the skillet and toss in the sauce. Serve with chopped green onion for garnish and sesame seeds for garnish if desired.
