Cinnamon Swirl Cream Cheese Banana Bread has a delicious cinnamon swirl and cheesecake filling with walnuts hidden inside. This will easily be one of the best quick breads that you ever make!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
In a large bowl mix 3 over-ripe mashed bananas, ⅓ cup melted butter, ¾ cup granulated sugar, 1 large beaten egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp baking soda, ¼ teaspoon salt, and 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour until just incorporated. Do not over mix.
Fold in ½ cup chopped walnuts. Spread ½ of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared loaf pan.
Mix ⅓ cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle a little more than half on top of the banana mixture in the loaf pan.
In a small bowl beat 4 ounces cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 egg. Mix until smooth. Spread on top of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Spread the remaining banana bread batter on top of the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted. Cool before slicing and enjoy!
