Glazed Walnut Butter Cake is a perfectly moist and tender buttery cake filled with walnuts and made with ingredients you already have on hand. This cake gets a delicious glaze and is topped with chopped walnuts and will become a new favorite!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Generously grease and flour a bundt pan. (can also use a 9x13)
In a large mixing bowl, using a hand or stand mixer, whisk the 1 cup softened butter and 2 ½ cups granulated sugar until light and creamy. Add the 4 eggs one at a time mixing well between each egg.
Mix the 3 cups sifted all-purpose flour and 2 teaspoons baking powder together. Add the flour mixture and 1 cup milk to the butter mixture alternating the flour and milk as you mix. Fold in ½ cup chopped walnuts.
Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool.
make the glaze by whisking together the ¼ cup melted butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 tablespoons milk. Drizzle on top of cooled cake and top with ½ cup chopped walnuts for topping.
