In a pot cook the bacon over medium-high heat until it is cooked through. Remove the bacon from the pot, allow it to cool and cut it into small pieces.
Drain all but 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease. Add the bell pepper and onion to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender about 3-5 minutes.
Add the bacon back to the pot along with the cans of pork and beans, ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring everything to a simmer, cover, and cook on low for an hour, stirring occasionally.
