Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook and break up the sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Add in the yellow onion, garlic, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper for the last 4-5 minutes of cooking.
Cut the bread lengthwise and place the insides face up on the sheet pan.
Brush both pieces generously with 4 tablespoons of the melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder.
Cover the bread with aluminum foil and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
While the bread bakes, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan. Whisk the eggs and milk together and add them to the pan.
Scramble the eggs until fully cooked, and remove from heat.
Take the bread out of the oven and top with the cheddar cheese slices, sausage and veggie mixture, eggs, and mozzarella cheese.
Place the filled bread back in the oven and broil for 1-3 minutes (watching carefully) or until the cheese is melted. Slice and serve.
