Easiest Homemade Marinara

Olive Oil

Yellow Onion
finely diced

Stewed Tomatoes

Tomato Paste

Italian Seasoning

Garlic Cloves

teaspoon
Salt

teaspoon
Pepper

Sugar

Chicken Broth or Water
Instructions
In a medium-sized
saucepan
over medium-high heat, add
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
and
1 small Yellow Onion
. Sauté until tender.
In a
food processor
or
blender
add the
2 (15 ounce cans) Stewed Tomatoes
,
1 (6 ounce can) Tomato Paste
,
1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
,
3 Garlic Cloves
,
1 teaspoon Salt
,
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
, and
1 Tablespoon Sugar
. Pulse until smooth.
Add the blended mixture to the onions in the
saucepan
and add
1/2 cup Chicken Broth or Water
. Sauté for 10 minutes to let the flavors blend.
