Creamy White Chicken Chill. An easy to make chicken chili recipe that is loaded up with juicy, tender bites of chicken, white beans, green chilies and jalapeno. All in a flavorful, creamy broth.
In a large pot over medium high heat, add 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add the 1 cup chopped onion and ½ chopped jalapeno and cook until the onion is soft about 2-3 minutes. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
Add in 2 cups shredded chicken, 2 cups chicken broth, 1 cup milk, and 1 cup heavy whipping cream. Bring to a simmer.
Add in 3 (15-ounce) drained cans white beans, 2 (4-ounce) cans of diced green chilies, 1 tablespoon cumin, ¾ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon paprika, ¼ teaspoon cayenne and ½ teaspoon oregano. Cover and let the pot simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and let sit for 2-3 minutes. Stir in ½ cup sour cream and then garnish with toppings such as shredded cheese , sour cream, jalapeños , cilantro and salsa! Enjoy!
