Add 1 ½ pounds flank steak to a resealable zip lock bag or large bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk together ⅓ cup soy sauce, ⅓ cup lemon juice, ½ cup olive oil, ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon black pepper , ½ teaspoon salt, and ⅛ teaspoon red pepper.
Pour the marinade on top of the steak and seal the bag. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
Turn the grill to medium-high heat. Add the marinated steaks and cook on each side for 3 minutes or until the outside is browned. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook the steaks to the desired doneness. Mine took about 10 minutes flipping 3 times to get a medium well.
Top with 2 tablespoons unsalted butter and garnish with chimichurri saucechimichurri sauce.
