In a small bowl, combine ½ cup softened salted butter, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, and ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese.
Spread the butter mixture evenly on the cut sides of each bread half. Bake the garlic bread for 12-15 minutes until the butter is melted and bubbly. If desired, broil for 1-2 minutes for a crispier top.
Top with fresh chopped parsley for garnish if desired, and serve fresh.
