Quinoa, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and mango combine in this incredible salad. The fresh fruit and quinoa are glazed with a honey lime dressing and it will be a hit wherever it goes!
I am obsessed with fresh fruit. Our fridge is always full of fresh ready to eat fruit. I would honestly eat fruit over candy and chocolate any day. I am loving all of the fresh fruit at our local market right now and it is perfect for making a fruit salad.
One of my favorite salads on the blog is this Honey Lime Poppyseed Fruit Salad. The honey lime glaze add the perfect flavor to the fruit. I decided to make this salad but add some quinoa. Quinoa not only adds a yummy texture to this salad, but has so many health benefits and added protein.
My friend Jason from The Modern Dad came over for a visit and it was the perfect opportunity to put together this delicious salad with all of the fresh fruit in my fridge. Jason is honestly the funniest person that I know and I laugh the entire time. He has such a fun blog too! By the end of making this salad our mouths were watering and we couldn’t wait to eat it!
This salad is incredible. So many delicious fruits are in this salad. You are going to love it! And my favorite part is the honey lime glaze over the top. Everything is perfect and the quinoa added to it is delicious. I loved the texture that the quinoa gave. I couldn’t get enough of it!
This salad is perfect for your next gathering. It is one of the best salads that I have made and the honey glaze on top is incredible. Sure to be a hit!

I love fresh fruit and was so excited when I saw that you put it into a quinoa salad! I also love the ease of this recipe and definitely think it’d keep well if taken to work or school. I included it in my latest post, “Kick Start The New Year #3: 15 Healthy Lunches”!
Do you have to use fresh fruit or can you use frozen?
I prefer to use fresh. I am not sure how it would be with frozen fruit. Let me know if you make it. 🙂
I am not a huge fan of blueberries… Do you have a suggestion for a substitute?
How long will this keep in the fridge?
I like to serve it fresh but I think it would be ok for 24 hours. 🙂
Fruit salad to a whole new level! Thank you for sharing Alyssa. 🙂

I don’t mind eating this every day while doing work! But I’d removed quinoa though. Not a big fan of quinoa. I tried to like it but apparently it’s still not my thing. Great recipe! Really a healthy one 🙂
what is quinoa and where to find it
Quinoa is a grain, most grocery stores carry it. Look for it either in the bulk section or with the dried beans and rice. “Generally, the seeds are cooked the same way as rice and can be used in a wide range of dishes. The leaves, meanwhile, are sometimes eaten as a leaf vegetable, much like amaranth, but commercial availability of quinoa greens is limited.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinoa The grain has a bit of a nutty flavor and texture.
