Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Add seasoned salt, taco seasoning mix, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and chilis. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for about 15-20 minutes.
In a small bowl combine the cottage cheese and eggs.
Layer half of the meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared pan. Next, layer half of the tortillas, then cottage cheese, and half of the shredded cheese. Repeat the layers ending with cheese.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with optional toppings.
