My sister-in-law is always introducing us to new and delicious foods. When she brought these Brussels sprouts to the dinner table, I had my doubts.

Brussels sprouts? Ewe.

I decided to put a few on my plate to give them a chance. I took my first bite and my mind was blown: โ€œOh my gosh, I love Brussels sprouts!โ€ They became the biggest hit with our whole family that day. We all went back for seconds and thirds until we finished every last one.

The flavor of these Brussels sprouts is amazing. The maple glaze caramelizes as they cook, and the bacon adds a smoky flavor throughout. I love how the edges of the Brussels sprouts roast in the oven, getting a crisp outside and a tender inside.

These are superb. We had these last nice as a side for your chicken chicken Marsala recipe. Just the right amount of sweetness is in these. Thank you for your excellent recipes.

  2. I am new to your blog and am loving it! I tried this recipe today, having never served brussel sprouts to my family before. They were so awesome! Okay–my kids cried a little and made throwing up noises, but my husband and I loved them. Thanks!
