The dough came out delicious! I ended up doing the egg wash on top before putting them in the oven for a bit, and they turned out smelling and tasting amazing. My only qualms are with the quantity and timing. Like many others in the comments, the quantity of dough barely resulted in enough for what I had initially planned. What initially attracted me to this recipe was the short total time- which excluded dough rising time. The total recipe time, depending on how long it takes to rise, would be closer to an hour or so. I appreciate full transparency in my recipes but other than those details, they came out great!
I’m sorry about the time being off. I will look into that! Thanks for the heads up!
Just making these for the first time. The recipe says it makes 12. In the content it says to divide dough into 6 pieces. The picture shows the dough divided into 8 pieces. How many should I expect?
Hi Jan, I’m sorry for the confusion. I would make 6 pretzels. If you want them smaller, you could make 8 or 12.
The video is not playing correctly. It skips from the middle of pretzel recipe to apple cheesecake dessert. I wish I could see the entire pretzel recipe
