Spring is right around the corner. I can feel it. The snow is starting to melt and I love the flavors and produce of spring. Sheet pans are such a must when it comes to an easy meal for the family and are so popular right now. We make sheet pan meals all of the time and I love the convenience of them. With spring comes Lent and I have a delicious recipeย that I am sharing with you today!

Those of you that are observing Lent, donโ€™t let Lent have you fishing for flavor! I am so excited to be teaming up with McCormick to help spice up your Fish Friday Favorites! This sheet pan meal is big on flavor and you don’t have to sacrifice on taste.

I love using McCormick’s seasoning mix packets in recipes. They make it so easy to put together flavors and bust out a complete meal that will blow your family away. I used the Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Mix and boy was it amazing!

Lemon + Garlic + Butter = the most incredible flavor combination EVER. It really coats the shrimp perfectly and adds such incredible flavor. I LOVE asparagus this time of year and it gets crisp on the outside and tender on the inside as it cooks along side the shrimp. I added some lemon slices for added flavor and it makes such a beautiful presentation when you pull it out of the oven.

It takes under 8 minutes to cook and you have a wonderful meal ready for your family in just 15 minutes! Your family will never know how easy this meal was for you to make.

  1. I’ve made this twice and it is delicious and easy.
The first time I didn’t have asparagus, but used brussel sprouts, and added some thin slices of onion.
The second time with the asparagus was great, too. However, I served it over white rice which stretched it and made it more filling.
I didn’t ever find the McCormick spice mix, so used a variety of spices on hand.

Thanks so much for the comment! I am happy that you liked it and that it was simple. Thanks for sharing and for following along!

  2. Excited to make this for Father’s Day tomorrow! Can you clarify how much butter to use, the recipe says ‘1/4 butter’. Is this 1/4c?

I made this shrimp dish for dinner earlier tonight. It was super quick and easy! I served it over some wide egg noodles. Yum! Thanks, Alyssa!

    1. I wouldn’t use cooked because it will get over cooked and tough, but raw frozen shrimp thawed first would work and it’s already deveined ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I don’t think that McCormick would appreciate me trying to recreate their seasoning mix! Haha

These packets are typically sold at most grocery chains but can be easily ordered through your local supermarket or online with either Walmart or Amazon. We might even add these to our new online shop this spring!!

      1. I live in Central Texas. My local Wal-Mart does not carry the spice packet, but H-E-B does!

    2. I went on the McCormick website to look at the ingredients of this packet just in case its not at our grocery store. Maybe try that if you can’t find the packet and use the ingredients you already have or that is more easily accessible. There’s some stuff in the ingredients that’s more “preservatives” as opposed to fresh so you can really just use the basics of the ingredients and make it yours. Its really just a mix of spices and dried corn syrup (I don’t know if that makes sense but that’s what it listed). I’m going to wait though until we shop and see if the store carries this packet because I want to use this recipe first but if they don’t have the packet than we’ll figure it out.
