Delicious honey garlic wings that cook perfectly in the slow cooker!

Slow cooker honey garlic glazed wings on a white plate.

It is no secret that I love my slow cooker. I especially love using my slow cooker on game days. I have five different slow cookers and you better believe they are all being used during a big football game! It is perfect for keeping the food warm during the game and cooks whatever you are making perfectly. I couldn’t wait to use my new slow cooker from Hamilton Beach. I have always wanted to try cooking wings in the slow cooker. And wow. They turned out incredible!

The meat on the wings were fall off the bone tender. It was so easy to just throw these into the slow cooker. The best part about these wings was the delicious glaze. They were sticky, finger licking good! Just how wings should be! The honey garlic was the perfect flavor combination for these wings. These wings didn’t last long and were the hit of the party! I know that you guys are going to love them too!

Delicious honey garlic wings that cook perfectly in the slow cooker!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 6 hours
Total Time: 6 hours 10 minutes
Servings: 8 People

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper and place them in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and vegetable oil. Pour over the chicken wings.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • Since the slow cooker adds moisture, this may thin the sauce. Pour sauce into a saucepan when the wings are done and bring to a boil. Add in the cornstarch and continue to cook until it thickens up. Pour the sauce back into the crockpot, and toss the wings to coat.

  1. This sounds delicious, only problem is no one in my house cares for wings, can other parts of chicken be used, thighs, for example?

  2. 5 stars
Finally, a nice easy to follow recipe. IU searched the web and found novel that had the first two chapters on the kids, and their kids soccer team that come over after a game. everything but the scores in the games, and of course a half written recipe. to try it out, I am using basic Kraft honey and garlic sauce bought from the store. I have it cooking now, and afterwards I warm them up on a frying pan in the oven. They are less socked in sauce that way. My only search was to find out how long to cook for and if on high or low. Not how the kids did in soccer. So I appreciate your rec ipe of which I will try from scratch. But mostly for sticking to cooking, and not your kids.BTW I also hate the self congratulatory recipes. The ones that start by saying I make this for neighbood barbeques, everyone loves them. they think I am the greatest mother on this planet. I have handed out the recipe hundreds and hundreds of times. Just how big are these neighborhood BBQs, LOL.

  3. Is the ginger fresh or ground? I have ground but 1 tsp ground is like 4 Tbsp fresh – I donโ€™t want to overpower the dish!

  4. Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Glazed Wings-

It says 3 lbs of chicken wings, halved. Does this mean I am only using 1.5 pounds?

    Thanks!

    1. Too funny but i would at it that way too but not it is 3 pounds whole wings that are halved===bag of wing pieces===3 pounds of whole wings. Any more confused? I mmaking this recipe and I know to get a bag of frozen wing pieces and to thaw them first.

  5. These are perfect for my meat-eating boyfriend and perfect for football season! Pinning this now ๐Ÿ™‚
