This recipe took the number one spot of my favorite slow cooker meals. It seriously blew my mind how amazing the flavor was. Not only was it the perfect blend of spices and lemon, but I have never had more tender, melt in your mouth chicken. It filled my house with the most wonderful lemon aroma. I already want to make this again. It’s just that good!

  1. It’s in my crockpot right now. Can’t wait to try it. I’m making some Italian roasted potatoes too.

  2. You had me at ‘lemon’ and ‘crock pot’- thanks for posting! And the idea to add potatoes sounds great, too!

  3. What can i use instead of the Italian seasoning packet as i do not have that here in Belgium, can i use just regular dry herbs.

    1. There are recipes on the internet for homemade Italian dressing seasoning. If you are on pinterest just search for italian dressing and several will come up. Usually you will use 2 T of a homemade mix to make the dressing and that is what I would use as a substitute for the packet.

    1. it’s usually just one, depending on the size and how you juice it. I’d get 2 just in case though

      1. That’s exactly what I’m doing right now because I didn’t have the italian packet. Hoping it turns out delicious!
