Delicious bacon cheeseburgers in a wrap. This is a meal the family is sure to love!

I let my picky eater choose one night a week something that he wants for dinner. I always look forward to these nights because I know that he will eat it! It usually consists of Pasta Roni in a box and hamburgers. But I wanted to switch things up a little and make these delicious wraps.

They were awesome. The great thing is that the adults could load it up with all of their favorite toppings. And the meat is simple ingredients but the flavor that came through was awesome! The picky eater just wanted meat and cheese. These were an absolute hit with the family and so easy to make. Well until the picky eater discovered the bacon pieces…. sigh. Oh well I tried! We will have to keep the bacon on the side next time! 😉

Bacon Cheeseburger Wraps

Ingredients

Instructions 

  • Brown the ground beef in a medium saucepan. Once the beef is brown, add the cooked bacon pieces.
  • In a small bowl, whisk the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Mix into the ground beef.
  • Lay the tortilla flat and put desired toppings on. I put the cheese, Lettuce, tomato, and ground beef. Roll it up like a burrito.
  • Place on a panini press or grill until the cheese is melted.

    So, so good! Every recipe I’ve tried has been good. Your ingredients are “normal” things that I usually have on hand – so appreciated. We don’t have a panini grill so we put the wraps on an oiled griddle and set a heavy pan on them for a nice, crispy finish. Flipped them for a few minutes and they were ready to eat. We cooked the meat and combined the other ingredients last night so all we had to do today was put the wraps together. Thanks for another great recipe!

  2. This is my question as well!

    What happens to the lettuce when you put the wrap on a panini press until the cheese melts? Doesn’t it totally wilt into mush?

    1. I wouldn’t think it would wilt the lettuce unless it stayed on the press too long. The hamburger and cheese will be on the outside and the tomato and lettuce will be on in the middle away from the heat. If you prefer to press it without the lettuce and put the lettuce either on top of the panini and eat it with a fork and knife or you may be able to unwrap it a bit and place the lettuce in after you have pressed it (that may be a mess though). Let me know how it turns out!!

      Just made these – in my opinion, the lettuce was still ok even though it got warm/soft. Don’t be afraid to try it.

  4. This recipe is a keeper! I made for my husband and he hid the rest in the fridge (there were only leftovers because there’s just the two of us). I didn’t even make it with bacon the first time as I didn’t have it on hand — so, he was even more in love when I used that the second time.

      We made the meat/mustard/seasonings up the night before and were a bit nervous with the strong mustard fragrance. But when we made them, it wasn’t strong at all. Just delicious!
