A Reader’s Review

Good idea for a daytime drink, love mojito flavor and nice to be able to have one any time, not just cocktail hour, thank you!

Why You’ll Be Sipping on This All Summer

  • Incredibly Crisp and Cool:ย Fresh lime, mint, and bubbles make it the ultimate thirst quencher.
  • Family-Friendly: All the mojito flavor, none of the alcohol, so everyone can enjoy it!
  • Mommy Mocktail Moment!ย Iโ€™m all about a good mocktail, and this one is my favorite. When the chaos gets too real, I make this and pretend I am on a beach somewhere!

Virgin Mojito Ingredients

  • Sparkling Water:ย I used plain sparkling water, but you can also use different flavors to customize your drink.
  • Adjust Sweetness: Taste as you go and adjust the amount of sweetener to your liking. Some prefer a sweeter mocktail, while others prefer it less sweet.

How to Make a Virgin Mojito

Itโ€™s really simple, and only takes 5 minutes! Because this virgin mojito recipe is so quick and easy, youโ€™ll want to make it all summer! Not to mention, it looks impressive, so break out your nice cups and enjoy a glass with friends and family!

  1. Muddle Ingredients: In a small bowl, muddle together the lime juice, agave, and mint leaves for at least 1 minute.
  2. Pour Over Ice: Pour the muddled virgin mojito mixture into a glass with ice.
  3. Add Sparkling Water: Pour the sparkling water over the mixture.
  4. Mix and Serve: Mix the drink, garnish with a lime wedge, and enjoy!

Mojito Mocktail Tips and Tricks

Check out these handy tips and get ready to impress your guests with a fresh, delicious drink thatโ€™s perfect for any occasion!

  • Blend Ingredients: You can also use an immersion blender or regular blender to make your virgin mojito instead of using a cocktail muddler.
  • Muddle Well: Take your time when muddling the lime juice, sweetener, and mint leaves to release their flavors fully. The longer you muddle, the tastier your virgin mojito will be!
  • Making for a Crowd: I would suggest tripling the recipe to make a large pitcher of it for a party!

Storing Leftovers / Making Ahead

  • Make Ahead/Fridge: You can make the mojito mixture with the agave, lime, and mint, and keep it in the fridge so it’s always ready to add to your favorite sparkling water beverages. Just store in an airtight container or jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • Keep the Fizzy Drink Separate: I donโ€™t recommend storing the virgin mojito mix with the sparkling water mix, as it will go flat quickly.
