Why Should You Meal Plan?

If you havenโ€™t tried planning your meals ahead of time, this is going to be a game-changer for you! Hereโ€™s why I swear by meal planning:

  • Time Saver:ย No more 4:00 PM panic about dinner. With a meal plan, you know exactly whatโ€™s on the menu, what you need, and how long it takes to cook.
  • Money Saver:ย Prepare to be amazed โ€“ meal planning works wonders for your wallet. When you organize your shopping list for the week, then youโ€™ll easily spot opportunities to buy in bulk and creatively repurpose leftovers for future meals. Itโ€™s a clever approach that keeps more money in your pocket.
  • Bye-Bye Takeout:ย When meals are planned and groceries are stocked, youโ€™re less likely to hit the drive-thru. That means more savings and healthier eating. Win-win!

This week the weekly menu plan is focused on my popular recipes. Shop at home with a few of my favorite meal plans that our family loves. These meals are rich in flavor and all ages love! See what recipes you will enjoy this next week with this delicious and simple pantry item meal list.

Meal Planning with Leftovers

I like to store any leftovers that I have from the week in an airtight container in my fridge. Then, on Saturday or Sunday, I can see what I have and use them all up for dinner! It makes weekends easy and relaxing to not have to cook!

  1. I saw the pumpkin cheesecake snickerdoodles on Facebook would love to have the recipe. Would like to make it for my small group

  2. I saw your recipe for Twixt thumbprint cookies. I also am crazy for Twixt! I want to make these cookies, but have a block of caramel I will be using instead of caramel candies. How many ounces should I use to get the same amount of caramel candies?
    Thanks!
    Looking forward to making these.
