Creamy Grape Salad

I am obsessed with fruit.  I could probably live off of fruit.  Whenever I go to the store, I have to buy some kind of fruit.  When the big, juicy, crisp grapes come into season, I am in heaven.  I totally stocked up on grapes the last time I went to the store and made this amazing creamy grape salad.

Just imagine big, juicy crisp grapes surrounded by a creamy goodness.  This salad was quick and easy to make.  It comes together in just a few minutes and is the perfect amount of sweetness.  The top is sprinkled with brown sugar and chopped pecans for the perfect finishing touch.  How can this salad not be a huge hit?   Everyone that I served it to absolutely loved it.  Take this to your next get together and it is sure to be a hit as well!

  1. I love this salad. For a little different twist drizzle with a little salted caramel sauce. Sometimes I replace the the grapes with apples. I really like seeing all the recipes you post. It’s one of my favorite sites. I wish you good luck on the recipes you try and fitting it all into busy days and nights with a little one.

  2. My family will devour this! We love fruit salads in the summer time!

  3. Ohh I love this idea! I think I would use yogurt instead of sour cream since I’m not a fan, but regardless, I am definitely going to try this sometime. Pinned!

When I make this one I put the brown sugar on the night before, then when you serve it the next day add the pecans the brown sugar crystallized and it’s like a crem brule

  5. This sounds really good. Do you think you could sub graham cracker bits for the pecans?

  7. My grandmother always made this at Thanksgiving. It was called Busy salad. They would put us kids at a table and have us peel the grapes. It kept us busy and out of the way.

  8. Andrea Hopkins says:

When I make this grape salad I just use red seedless grapes 3 1/2 lbs. Instead of regular cream cheese I use strawberry cream cheese and instead of vanilla extract I use 5-6 drops of almond extract ( a must). Until you taste this you will never use any other recipe. Absolutely delicious!!!!!!
