*I love to use gold plum chin kiang vinegar. It is a Chinese black vinegar found in the Asian isle of most grocery stores. It adds great authentic flavor to the sauce.

    Great recipe! Made it exactly as instructed and wouldnโ€™t change a thing. It was wonderful with my frozen potstickers, which I pan fried.

    I really didn’t enjoy this, I was hoping for something similar to the sauces included in some brands of frozen pot stickers and this was nowhere close despite having more or less the same ingredients. The proportions must be off. It mostly tastes like straight soy sauce with a hint of sesame oil, much too strong and salty, not enough sweetness or acidity to offset it.

    Boil this for 5 minutes after mixing. Tastes better than take-out. I added a touch of dried ginger garlic, chives, and white wine for complexity. Super quick and easy and delicious. Boiling is key!!

  4. My husband and I love this recipe. We will on occasion order potstickers but use this instead of the restaurantโ€™s. We keep it made and store in the fridge for way longer than 2 or three weeks. Is there any reason this couldnโ€™t be frozen sans the green onions?

    I have eaten a lot of potstickers..lol I used to work night shift and 2am I would order potstickers. These are so good. Easy to make and easy to cook. I made 2 batches. I cooked about 8 of them, and froze the rest.. I followed the recipe exactly except for the mushrooms. Forgot those, but these are worth your time. My hubby wet the edges, I put in the meat and pinched them. I’m not fancy so I just made them in triangles. It works. Thanks so much

    Love how quick and easy this sauce is. I can whip some up while the potstickers cook… or even afterwards without having to worry about them getting cold. Highly recommend!
