My hubby sent me a message with a picture of this chicken and said make this! And it only had the listed ingredients. Of course he would send me something to try that was wrapped in bacon. This was delicious. And you can’t go wrong with chicken stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. Everything is better wrapped in bacon right? ๐Ÿ™‚ ย The family loved it but I did feel like the cream cheese needed a little more to it. I think the next time that I make this I am going to add an italian seasoning packet or something… what do you think that I should add? It just needed something else and I can’t quite think of it. I am going to have to do some experimenting the next time that I make this!

  1. That looks delicious . I think I will add some chopped garlic and marinated artichock hearts to the cream cheese. I know what’s for dinner tonight!

  2. I’ve made this or a variation on this recipe many times. Always delicious! Try garlic, fresh herbs and lemon zest in the cream cheese. Yumm!

  3. Alyssa, I made this for dinner tonight and it was fab! A definite keeper. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. I added 2 oz of blue cheese to the cream cheese and chives. Loved it! Thank you for the recipe. It is a keeper.

  5. I make this but I put finely minced jalapenos in the cream cheese and use black pepper bacon to wrap it. I also make it with tenderized deer steak.

  6. When you finish the recipe with –

Broil the top for 5 minutes….(Im a little inexperienced in the kitchen…) Do you mean, put in bottom of stove? Do I have to adjust my stove to a BROIL setting? Thanks for your post!
    Cant wait to try it.

  7. m going to try this, but Iโ€™ll add Greek seasoning and some diced/minced mushrooms. If I had the money for real crabmeat or lobster Iโ€™d do that.

  8. I have made something very similar to this. I add grated cheese to the cream cheese, and either stuff the mixture in 1/2 of a Jalepeno, or dice up the peppers and incorporate them into the cream cheese mixture. During the last 5 -10 minutes of baking, I also add a sweet barbecue sauce such as sweet baby ray;s on top. My family loves it!

  9. When I make it…I add some sautรฉed poblano pepper slices. Couldn’t remember the baking time and temp…so thank you.

  10. I’m going to try this, but I’ll add Greek seasoning and some diced/minced mushrooms. If I had the money for real crabmeat or lobster I’d do that.

  11. What about using a green onion dip mix? That has some extra spice to it. Also put some mozerrella cheese on top when broiling.
