A Reader’s Review

“Simple to make! Plus it was a huge hit! Can’t ask for anything more than that!” -BonBon

Why This Million Dollar Dip Beats the Rest!

  • Better Crunch: My Million Dollar Dip uses freshly shredded cheddar and slivered almonds for the perfect mix of creamy and crunchy.
  • Flavor That Gets Better: This dip’s flavor gets better as it chills, so you can make it ahead and it’ll taste even better the next day!
  • Simplicity Without Sacrifice: My Neiman Marcus Dip comes together in minutes and has the perfect balance of rich, salty, and savory flavors.

Million Dollar Dip Ingredients

Overhead shot of labeled ingredients.
  • Almonds: Toast your almonds before adding them for maximum nutty flavor.
  • Cheese: Use freshly shredded cheddar. Packaged cheese lacks flavor and texture. You can also use aged Gouda or Gruyere.
  • Flavor Boosts: Add extra flavor with 1 Tablespoon ranch seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, or a few dashes of hot sauce!
  • Mayonnaise: You can substitute mayo for sour cream, cream cheese or Greek yogurt. I have found that mayonnaise works best to achieve a perfectly creamy texture.

With just five simple ingredients and five minutes to prep, this dip is totally irresistible. I couldn’t wait to make it! It’s creamy, crunchy, and perfect for any occasion. Don’t miss my Million Dollar Chicken, too!

    1. No, I don’t suggest freezing this dip. The mayonnaise in it will separate and become watery if frozen and thawed.

Made this and it was ok, nothing spectacular, I thought it was really salty! I believe the culprit was the bacon bits. If I make this again I will use real bacon instead.
