Crock Pot Pork Chops
Hi! Natasha here from Salt & Lavender. I’m all over the comfort foods this winter, and these pork chops are about as comfort food-y as you can get! Making pork chops in the Crock-Pot is super easy. You don’t even have to sear the meat beforehand. This easy slow cooker pork chop recipe has the most amazing gravy and only uses a handful of ingredients. I hope you’ll love it!
These are the best ever Crockpot pork chops! Feel free to sprinkle a little chopped parsley on at the end like I did… it brings a nice freshness to the dish.

Add the gravy mix, onion powder, garlic powder, broth, and pepper to your slow cooker. Give it a stir.
-
Add in the pork (submerge it in the liquid as best as you can).
-
Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
-
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and cold water together. Add it to your slow cooker, along with the cream. Let it cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens up.
How long to cook pork chops in the slow cooker
3-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.
What kind of pork chops to use?
I used fairly thin, boneless ones. You can use thicker, bone-in ones as well (you may need to cook them on high for a little longer depending on how thick they are, and I’d only use four of them).

This recipe is absolutely fantastic! I served with mashed potatoes and corn and everyone got a clean plate award. They said it was โoutstanding!โ I checked my pork chops after 2 hours and they were done so I turned the crockpot to the keep warm setting and added the cornstarch/water/cream and just let it sit on that setting until we were ready to eat (an hour later) and it thickened up beautifully. Thanks for a delicious and super easy meal ๐
So good! I was afraid my pork chops would be dry because they were thinly sliced and lean. They were so tender! Because they were so lean, I could have omitted the cornstarch because my gravy was thick but nothing a little liquid couldn’t rectify. I highly recommend this recipe.
Absolutely delicious recipe, and the basic method could be used for almost any meat, just adjust the type of gravy mix and broth accordingly. This is definitely going into my regular meal rotation! Are the nutrition facts for the whole dish or just for one serving?
Just for one serving.
Extremely easy! I used boneless pork ribeyes. The whole house smelled great. Good flavor, fork tender and very few dishes. I served with corn and mashed potatoes. Will make again
Can I put the pork chops in frozen and cook longer?
Yes, that will work too.
Can I use jarred pork gravy
one. Another quick rrecipe is chicken thighs fried, toss in Rotelos spicy or mild diced tomatoes, let blend slowly on low. Serve over steamed rice and a nice salad.
I’ve only ever pan fried or baked pork chops, don’t know why I never thought of slow cooking them, thank you
What if I only have bone-in? Can I still make this recipe???? Sounds amazing ;o}
Hi Janet! I explain in the recipe notes within the blog post. ๐
MY VARIATION: I made it with Southern Mills Peppered Gravy and just added the spices without the boullion cube. It is delicious. I used one pound of cubed pork boneless pork and sliced it up. I poured the gravy made according to package directions over the chops in the Crock Pot with the onion and garlic powder and cooked chops on high 4 hours covered. IT IS DELICIOUS. Since I had only one pound of pork I used the whole packet of gravy. I had 4 chops and will use the other two over biscuit and gravy tomorrow night. Thank you for such an EZ recipe.
Some day I will try it the way the recipe is made with the packaged pork gravy and boullion cube.
