Korean Ground Beef and Rice Bowls
This right here is my boys favorite weeknight meal. They beg me to make it every week. Since we have been so busy with Lacrosse we have been having it every week. It requires minimal ingredients and requires little effort to make.
Easy, minimal ingredients, and my kids devour it. This meal became my new BFF.
The ground beef takes only minutes to brown but you still get that delicious Korean flavor in this meal. The brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger combination is the best.
It helps take the flavor to next level with the simple kitchen ingredients. The best part is that because we love Asian flavors so much I always have these ingredients on hand. All I have to do is buy a pound of ground beef each week.
You guys are going to love this meal just as much as we do! It is so delicious when served over rice and I even like to add some veggies to my bowl to make it a well rounded meal.
Sprinkle with some sesame seeds and freshly chopped green onions and you have about the easiest meal that you will ever make! You will make this again and again!

Great ideas! Thank you
EAsy recipe! TAsty too. We eat this Korean ‘sam’ style. SAM is lettuce. We use butter lettuce or green lettuce as wraps. Throw the beef in and add a variety of asian pickled side dishes. Low carb and healthy.
That is all so great to hear! Thank you for sharing all your insights! I love it all!! XOXO
This is delicious!!!! Instead of ground beef I’m vegetarian so I used Morning Star Veggie Crumbles and it came out perfect! Thanks for sharing

All you ladies with hunters in your family… This is an amazing recipe to use ground deer in! My husband gets a few deer each year so we never need to buy beef. But I don’t particularly like the flavor of deer and struggle to find recipes to mask the taste. This one totally hides the game flavor and we LOVE it! Thanks so much for sharing!
This is just too awesome! I am so glad you shared this! Thank you very much! XOXO
Very good recipe. I didn’t have sesame oil so I omitted it.
Seriously the BEST ground beef dish that I’ve ever made! My family loves it!
That is so great to hear!! I am so glad everyone loved it! XOXO
I made this tonight for my family. Everyone including my (6 yr old) son loved it. They said the flavor from the sauce was really good. Thank you so much! ?

I’m a novice cook and this is the best dish I ever created for me and my girlfriend. IT came out wonderfully, so impressive. Mouthwatering and tasty. Thank you, it was so easy!
That is so great to hear!! I love that you tried it and it turned out great!! Thanks for sharing!! XOXO
I made this dish tonight and think that it is fantastic! My only regret is that I didn’t double it.
The meat got a little too dry because of using a lower fat meat. Maybe a meat with a smidge more fat content would be best.
I am really happy about this recipe, even my incredibly picky hubby liked it. It’s a keeper!
Thank you so much.
That is so great to hear! I am glad he still liked it! Doubling recipes is sometimes a must, especially to feed a large family or just to freeze it for another night! I like your ideas!! XOXO
I found this recipe a few weeks ago, while frantically needing something quick and delicious to make for my four children. Needless to say this was a huge hit in my home! My son that is a very finicky eater –absolutely loved this he asked for seconds (something that I can count on one hand how many times he has done on his 8 years of existence)! My 10 year old daughter requests it at least twice a week (she would have this daily if I allowed it). My other two sons (6 and almost 3 years old) gobble it up with joy and remind me to get the ingredients for it when we visit the grocery store. Last night my Mom was over for dinner and she frequently praised how delicious this meal is. This recipe has truly been a Godsend in my life I love how quickly it can be prepared and I appreciate the fact that I can do something other than spaghetti, burgers and the ‘usual’ ground beef meals. Thank you for sharing this savory mouth watering meal!
This was a great recipe for a change up in what to make with ground beef. Thanks!
It is so good and I love variety with my meats! Glad you liked it too! XOXO
This is sooooo easy and delicious. My husband had to work late, so I had to put some away before my kids ate it all! Thank you.
That is great to hear! It is always a plus when the kiddos eat it! I am so happy you all loved it! Thanks for sharing! XOXO

Very good recipe, quick & easy too. I added a bag of mixed veggies to the recipe & it as a huge hit with the picky eaters I have around here. Will be adding this to the rotation without a doubt. Love the flavor and simplicity of the dish, I’m sure it would be good with other meat as well.
