Why You Need This Salad In Your Life!

  • Better glazed walnuts: Most salads settle for plain or overly sweet nuts. These glazed walnuts add the perfect crunch without stealing the show.
  • Sweet, salty, fresh perfection: Juicy strawberries, creamy feta, and crisp greensโ€”this salad hits every flavor in one bite.
  • Fancy with zero effort: It looks restaurant worthy but takes just minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights, weekend brunch, or family potlucks.

  • Add-In Ideas: Try adding different kinds of berries, like blueberries or blackberries. Sliced red onion would also be delicious in this salad!
  • Walnuts: The glazed walnuts are a must! If you canโ€™t find them at the store, use my easy Candied Walnuts recipe.

  • Dressing Substitutions: Lighten up the dressing by using non-fat Greek Yogurt or low-fat mayonnaise in place of the mayonnaise.

How to Make Strawberry Spinach Salad

This salad is so simple to put together. You only need to slice up the strawberries, prepare your lettuce, and whip up the quick and delicious dressing, and you’re ready to go!

  1. Combine Dressing Ingredients: In a small bowl, add mayonnaise, milk, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and poppyseeds.
  2. Stir: Whisk the dressing until smooth and combined.
  3. Assemble the Salad Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the baby spinach, spring mix, strawberries, candied walnuts, and crumbled feta. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and then gently toss to coat. Serve immediately and enjoy!

  1. Title was strawberry spinach salad with glazed walnuts and FETA. Why were spring greens added and no mention of feta in your recipe?

    1. Sorry, that was a typo! I would use 1/2 cup -1 cup of crumbled feta cheese (depending on how much you like) in this salad! Thanks for catching that!
