What to serve with Beef Tips

We usually prefer potatoes under our  beef tips to make this a complete meal. You can serve these beef tips with potatoes, noodles or even rice.

To make this into a great family meal add in some vegetables like green beans, roasted cauliflower or carrots to bring in some color and extra flavor.

These have been our favorite family potatoes.

  1. Can I make this ahead of time. Like brown the meat and get all the other ingredients together and put in the crockpot and then take it out in the morning and turn on!

    1. I haven’t tried that before with this recipe but it should work. Let me know how it turns out!

  2. Does anyone know what the cook setting/times would be if this was done in an instapot instead of a traditional slow cooker?

  3. 5 stars
This is my 3rd time making this recipe. IT IS EXCELLENT, and my friends enjoy it. I will keep making it just for me and rare special occasions. Thank you so much.

  4. Anxious to try this, but because we have to watch daily carbohydrate count I am going to use xanthum gum to thicken instead of cornstarch. Looks so good !!

  5. I made this on Sunday. I had to use 4 lbs. of beef stew so I added a can of Cream of Celery soup and 2 packs of brown gravy. Everyone loved it! This recipe is a keeper.

  6. 5 stars
This recipe was so good thank you. I added poblano peppers, added a little cayenne, thyme, and added more cornstarch. Came out perfect.

  7. This is absolutely delicious, it is a family favorite in our home and super easy to make! Just a note, you left out when to add in the worcestershire sauce, I assumed it went in with everything else 😉 I absolutely love following you on instagram, I have tried several of your recipes, are all always a hit with our family. Thank you for sharing your deliciousness with us!!

  8. Delish! If I may, Stew Meat is third class mystery meat. At the least, a roast or tenderloin cut up adds heaps and layers of flavor and you don’t get that organ meat bite.

  9. I sauteed the mushrooms and onions in the pan after the beef. Than deglazed the pan with 1 cup red wine and reduced the beef broth to 2 cups. Added alot of flavor
