A Reader’s Review

So easy to make! I had all the ingredients, and it was perfect. Next time I want to have ingredients ready for a dip. Plain was good enough for the first attempt at making this great snack.

Reasons to Make a Double Batch

  • Sweet & Snackable: Light, crispy, and coated in cinnamon sugarโ€ฆ youโ€™ll be grabbing โ€œjust one moreโ€ all day.
  • Fast Fix, Pantry Friendly: I make these all the time because theyโ€™re fast, delicious, and I always have the ingredients on hand.
  • Dip-Ready: Pair them with a fruit charcuterie board, chocolate sauce, or whipped cream. Theyโ€™re seriously good with everything!

  • Flour Tortillas: I use flour tortillas because theyโ€™re always in my pantry and bake up perfectly. Corn tortillas work too, just watch the time since they cook faster.
  • Sugar: Adjust to taste, I like mine on the sweeter side.
  • Other Flavors: For a fall twist, mix in some pumpkin spice. So good!

How to Make Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

These cinnamon tortilla chips come together in no time and are seriously hard to resist. Good thing theyโ€™re so easy to whip up because a second batch is almost always a must. My kids go through them fast, so I love that I can make more any time!

  1. Melt the Butter: Preheat the oven to 350ยบF. In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave.
  2. Combine the Cinnamon and Sugar: In a separate bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon, then stir to combine.
  3. Butter the Tortillas: Layย the flour tortillasย flat, then brush them evenly with the meltedย butter on one side.
  4. Sprinkle: Sprinkle generously with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Optional: Carefully flip the tortillas over and repeat the butter and sugar mixture on the other side. Not necessary, but makes them extra delicious!
  5. Cut: Using a knife or a pizza cutter, cut the tortillas into small triangles.
  6. Bake: Place the wedges in a single layer on aย baking sheet. Donโ€™t overcrowd the pan! If the chips are piled up, theyโ€™ll steam instead of crisp. Give them space to get that perfect golden crunch. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the tortilla chips are crispy.

If you do it this way only one side of the chips will have cinnamon and sugar ?It needs to be on both sides.

    1. Christina, you are more than welcome to flip them all over and repeat the process of coating them! You can never have too much cinnamon and sugar!
