Weeknight magic in one pot! These slow cooker ranch pork chops are rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. With just a few ingredients, you’ll have tender pork and perfectly cooked potatoes swimming in a creamy ranch sauce.

Comfort Food That Cooks Itself
- Only 5 Ingredients: Literally just five things. No weird stuff. AND, you probably already have everything you need!
- No Effort Required: You just dump it in the slow cooker and go live your life. It basically cooks itself.
- Kid-Approved: Even my picky eaters don’t complain. Slow cooker ranch pork chops are creamy, cozy, and my kids actually ask for seconds.
Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops Ingredients

- Pork Chops: Thick boneless pork chops work beautifully in this recipe, but bone-in chops are a great option. Keep in mind, they may need a bit more time to cook through.
- Potatoes: I used red potatoes, but Yukon or baby golds work just as well.
- Adjust the Consistency: Add a little milk if you want a thinner sauce, but skip it to keep things thick and creamy.
- Add Veggies: Baby carrots, celery, or chopped onion cook up perfectly right in the slow cooker.
- Use Chicken Instead: Boneless, skinless chicken breasts work great in place of pork chops, no other changes needed.
- Soup Options: Use canned cream of chicken (or homemade if you’re feeling fancy), or use cream of mushroom soup for a different flavor.
- Dry Ranch Dressing Mix: Use your favorite packaged brand or make your own blend with my quick and easy recipe.
How to Make Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops
Crockpot ranch pork chops couldn’t be easier! Just toss everything into your slow cooker and come back to a cozy, delicious dish that tastes like you spent all day in the kitchen.
- Add Potatoes: Spray your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray, then place the potatoes into the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add Pork Chops: Lay the pork chops on top.
- Mix Sauce Ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup and the packet of ranch seasoning.
- Add Sauce and Cook: Pour the soup gravy mixture over the pork chops, then cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Garnish slow cooker ranch pork chops and potatoes with chopped parsley, if desired.

More Delicious Slow Cooker Recipes
As much as I love my air fryer and Instant Pot, my slow cooker will forever hold my heart. These beef tips, Italian chicken and potatoes, or Mississippi pork roast are must-try recipes. Here are a few more of my favorites!
I made this with a pork tenderloin instead of pork chop. I added 1/2 cup of low sodium chicken broth and onions/garlic and miss dash Very tender meat and awesome potatoes and sauce
Does anyone know what the timing would be in the instant pot?
Any substitute for creme of chicken soup? Husband is allergic to chicken. (totally sucks!) Thanks!
Is being allergic to chicken a thing? 😉 They make all sorts of cream based soups. Cream of potato or even mushroom might be a great substitute. 🙂
Cream of celery
I also added baby carrots because I like them. Also added shallots because I happened to have them on hand. Great outcome.
What if you don’t have potatoes, what else could you use?
I used cauliflower pieces as I am eating a low carb diet so potatoes are not a part of my meals.
Says 4 Skillet to 5 hours low & 6-7 hours low. Which one:) Thanks!
Should it be 6-7 hours on low “or” 4 hours on high instead of “and”. I have never heard of doing both? Thanks.
When you use the chicken soup do you add the regular 1 can of water to it? This would thin out the gravy. Does the packet of dry ranch mix compensate for this?
No you don’t add the water. When cooking in the slow cooker it will add enough moisture to it and thin it out.
I “adore” some of your recipes but I can’t print them. Why!!??
Sorry all of my old recipes were not entered into a plug in. I would have to go back and redo all of them. Maybe I will put this on the list to do first. 🙂
Just wanted to let you know I am featuring two of your recipes on my blog tomorrow! I am super impressed by your blog and am excited to try the recipes!
without any liquid added how do the pork chops not come out dry? Can you use bone in pork chops?
Nope they do not dry out at all! The slow cooker keeps the moisture in. They turn out so tender and delicious. 🙂
Not sure what I did wrong but my pork chops came out kind of dry. Judging by your photo the pork is suppose to be fork tender? I followed the recipe with four pork chops on high for four hours. Should I have done 6-7 hours on low instead? Overall it does taste great but doesn’t look as great as yours.
Oh no! I hate when that happens. They should not have come out dry at all. I have made this a few times and it just peels apart and melts in your mouth. I usually never cook on high because it does tend to cook it at higher temp and dry it out faster. Mine only took about 4-5 hours on low. 🙂
Do you have any nutritional info on this recipe? And number of servings?
I’m sorry I don’t. I am trying to get nutritional info in the future. They serve 4-6 depending on the number of pork chops you use. 🙂
Mannnnn… I wish I had seen this recipe this morning! 😉 I am making pork chops this evening, but I had a different recipe in mind. Too late to start it in the slow cooker now. But I pinned this one to try soon!
Great use of pork. Tomorrow’s edition of Food on Friday is all about pork. It would be nice if you linked this in. Cheers
Ps It would be great if you followed me back.
Can you use ranch dressing instead of the packet. If so how much. Thank you
