  • Olive Oil: Olive oil is one of the best complementary oils for salmon as it won’t influence the flavor.

How to Make Bold Flavored Salmon

The most important thing to remember about salmon is that you do not want to overcook it. Watch it carefully because it can go from not done to overdone in minutes. This is truly a divine dish!

  1. Prep the Salmon: Preheat a medium sized non stick skillet to medium high heat. Rub the salmon with olive oil. Rub about 1 teaspoon of blackened seasoning on the salmon.

  1. I’m confused. Ingredients call for 2 TBS blackened seasoning and yet directions say 1 tsp. Which is it? Also, nutritional values show 50 mg sodium BUT the blackened seasoning recipe states 580 mg sodium. Not trying to be picky but my husband has been advised to watch his salt so I’m very sensitive to how much salt is in a recipe. Live your site…this recipe just didn’t make sense to me. Please clarify
